Produced in a very limited run, the Diamond Roc X National Gallery Xanthus & Balius sweater is the first sweater create in collaboration with The National Gallery. Using our luxury Baroc sweatshirt as the base, we added a mysterious painting of the horses of Achilles. The clear, easily interpreted detail of the patterned sleeves and ghostly nature of the images in the paining with the soft black cotton as the canvas create a stunning piece .

Style of Anthony van DYCK , 1599 - 1641 Achilles, the Greek hero, had two horses, Xanthus and Balius, which were the offspring of Zephyrus, a wind god. Homer ‘Iliad’, XVI, 146. The wind god, top right, is probably intended as a personi cation of Zephyrus.
